CATEC Cos students got to practice their perm wrap skills blindfolded, showing that once you truly know a skill you can perform it with your eyes closed.

CATEC's High School Spring Break begins today, Friday, April 1 at 12pm. We will return to school on Monday, April 11. We hope all of our CATEC students, families, and staff have a restful and safe break.

Here's our second Profile of a CATEC Student for March: Zion Gant-Washington, a homeschooled Electricity student who plans to use his skills in class to become an electrician. Wiring doorbells and Electrical math? No problem for him!
Even though the CATEC Olympics has been postponed, we were still treated to @Wegmans subs! Thank you Academics team for pulling together everything for our event.
CATEC's Adult Education and Apprenticeship Programs will not have class tonight, Thursday, March 31st. Additionally, these programs are closed for spring break April 4-8. Classes resume the following week.

Today we're celebrating our first March Profile of a CATEC student: Collin Barnett, a @k12albemarle @MonticelloHigh senior who will use his @CatecVetscience curriculum and hands-on skills to study biology in college. Collin is also captain of the MHS tennis team and plays piano!
@CatecFire students conducted Firefighter 2 Vehicle Extrication Training. Big thanks to @CvilleFireDept for helping and the East Rivanna Fire station for bringing out an engine with hydraulic tools. We even had a CATEC Fire alum come out to help. Good to see you Hunter!
Congratulations to Derek Pixton from @CatecFire. This @AlbemarIeHigh @k12albemarle student earned his VDFP State Certified in Firefighter 1 and Hazardous Materials Operations.
CATEC's food bus Technical Eats! is serving up lunch snacks in the CATEC parking lot today 11am-2pm. Wear your stretchy pants and chow down on tater tot nachos, wings, quesadilla, and dessert. Come out to support our students!
