Electricity 1 students got to work on repairing the lighting system in our @UVAHeath ambulance. The vehicle is used for our EMT students to practice working in confined spaces, but our Electricity students have the opportunity to pull out its broken lighting to repair it.

Students were busy today in their lab spaces. Electricity students were wiring their boxes. Carpentry students had a variety of projects going. Fire Science students worked with ladders and ropes. Auto Tech students put in their hours for the week. And Culinary students baked.
It's Throwback Thursday! We're throwing it back to the 1980s with our EMT Instructor, Mrs. Gardner. As a teenager growing up in Richmond, she rocked some teased hair and played tennis. Today you can find her at local farmer's markets selling her own coffee when not teaching.
