RETURN TO IN-PERSON LEARNING
INFORMATION FROM THE DIRECTOR
CATEC faculty and staff are eager to have students back in our building for in-person learning. We know it is important for students to have face-to-face time with their instructors and classmates and need hands-on time to practice their technical skills. While re-entry into our building will be different from previous years, we know it will greatly benefit students' abilities to accomplish their goals of becoming skilled in their industry of choice.

Reminders: Students are required to properly wear a mask at all times. You are expected to have your mask on before approaching the screening station.
You should have received a packet with information about the opening and pre-screening tool.
Students should go through the pre-screening tool before arriving to school. If they answer "yes" to any question, they should not report to school.
ACPS students requesting transportation: Your plan has been loaded into your base school portal. ACPS students will have to go to their base school and take a shuttle from there. They will return to their base school for their virtual afternoon classes.
CHS students requesting transportation: CHS student will have to take the CAT at no charge. We will call you with your stop times and routes.
Most of classes run from 10 AM to 1 PM, but a few CHS only classes run from 9 AM to 12 PM. Instructors will clarify.
A snack and mask break following CDC guidelines will be provided daily.
On your first day: bring your mask, bring your toolkit, and bring your computer.
