CATEC is looking for a Pharmacy Technician instructor.

We are a small office that serves the local trade industry by offering Department of Labor and Industry approved apprenticeship classes, as well as adult education programs, for local adults wanting to change their careers or receive skills training to help them find employment. What knowledge, skills, and abilities we need you to have:

The ideal candidate shall be either 1) a pharmacist with a current unrestricted license in any jurisdiction in the United States, or 2) a pharmacy technician with at least one year of experience performing technician tasks who holds a current PTCB certification.Teaching experience is desired, but not required.

What you will be doing:

You will be responsible for teaching the two-hour class twice a week in the evening for two 15-week semesters. This class prepares students to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE). Fall semester classes run August to late November and the spring semester begins in January and finishes up in early May.
