Ms. Corbin was raised in Culpeper and studied Communications at Virginia Tech. She has worked as a paramedic and instructor in Spotsylvania, Fredericksburg, Loudoun, Henrico, and Culpeper counties. Her certifications include Critical Care EMT, Nationally Registered Paramedic, VA Education Coordinator, Nationally Certified EMS Educator, and she is a Firefighter.

Students learn about anatomy and physiology, initial patient survey and triage, airway management, oxygen therapy, and treatment of bleeding, shock, cardiac arrest, fractures, spinal injuries, and other medical emergencies. This program requires strenuous physical activity.
